Hi guys,

I ordered one of these boards a few weeks ago and I received a REV2.0, rather than a REV3.3. Is there a big difference between the two to justify sending it back and getting it replaced?

Gigabyte website says they are the same: here
edit: NOT the same! 3.3 does 1333,
v2.0 does 1066

I've upgraded the BIOS to the latest, F5.

There are supposed to be some hardware diffs between the 2.0 and 3.3 which is why the 3.3 has official support for 1333. I've got a rev2.0 and am quite happy with it, was a bit disappointed that I didn't get a rev3.3 but couldn't be arsed to go through the hassle of sending it back.

Does the F5 BIOS support the 1333 FSB?

I called up and they said they won't change it, even though the description said REV3.3.

The rev 3.3 has been tweaked for quads IIRC

I would be miffed at not getting a REV 3.3 mobo now

I would send it back, as Rev 3.3 is the newest release and there is a difference between the boards, even if it is only slight. Some retailers are infamous for not declaring what model you will actually get shipped and that basically covers them unfortunately - you bought a DS3P, you got a DS3P so there is no valid reason for them to accept it back

I will just return it - it does say rev3.3 in the description.
