I took my late fathers car for the yearly MOT yesterday and when it was on the ramp, it just revved flat out by itself, this happened twice, strange thing was you can turn it off by the key no problem.
I have drove it and it has not happened to me. it seemed to only do it out of gear.
Anyone got any ideas, did think sticking throttle but surely it would happen all the time. maybee its the turbo on its way out.
