It's defo the Driver. Or put it this way, if nVidia have sent out a load of dogy hardware, they will be getting a load back. Which I very much dealt the e-tailors of this world will like.
I have something else that has just happened.
As I was playing a game the screen went black and my monitor popped up with 'no signal available' or something to that affect, as if the card completely stopped working.
Ill watch next time for the stats on my LCD (forgot to look at the time!) but I hope this is to do with the dodgy software.
Oh and trying to change the settings on WoW via the Nvidia Experience program is currently forcing a crash everytime I click on WoW in my games list. Every other game works fine but WoW crashes the program.
Sounds very odd.
I would say, disable DSR completely for now and just stick to your monitor's native resolution.
Also, disable all AA settings in your nvidia control panel, they can sometimes cause issues in blizzard games.
Might be worth uninstalling nvidia experience completely for the time being too, whilst you are still troubleshooting.
Only other thing I can think of is cable quality (for losing signal to monitor).
Also what is your PSU (brand and wattage)?
P.s. Removing 3D vision drivers shouldn't affect anything (assuming you are not playing with 3D glasses etc.)
I've just posted in the CS sub forum asking to return my Infinity Card. The driver problems are a real headache for me. BF4 is not playable @ 4fps, while the GPU is sitting a 4% util.
Very poor and such a shame. Just glad I've kept hold of my 7970.
