970 GTX issues.

It's defo the Driver. Or put it this way, if nVidia have sent out a load of dogy hardware, they will be getting a load back. Which I very much dealt the e-tailors of this world will like.

It would also be a little embarrasing considoring they are banging on about the brand new maxwell tech and so on.

I have something else that has just happened.

As I was playing a game the screen went black and my monitor popped up with 'no signal available' or something to that affect, as if the card completely stopped working.

Ill watch next time for the stats on my LCD (forgot to look at the time!) but I hope this is to do with the dodgy software.

Oh and trying to change the settings on WoW via the Nvidia Experience program is currently forcing a crash everytime I click on WoW in my games list. Every other game works fine but WoW crashes the program.

Sounds very odd.

I would say, disable DSR completely for now and just stick to your monitor's native resolution.

Also, disable all AA settings in your nvidia control panel, they can sometimes cause issues in blizzard games.

Might be worth uninstalling nvidia experience completely for the time being too, whilst you are still troubleshooting.

Only other thing I can think of is cable quality (for losing signal to monitor).
Also what is your PSU (brand and wattage)?

P.s. Removing 3D vision drivers shouldn't affect anything (assuming you are not playing with 3D glasses etc.)

Wow is the DSR. I had this problem. Deleted my wow settings file because it will save your GeForce experience even when wow fails to load properly. This made me need to launch it before GeForce could optimize so it worked with no DSR.

I can't deal with the DSR. I have my font very small so the DSR makes it so blury and unreadable. Like almost everything I see in The game. Obviously I would need to fiddle with the settings abit more to make it useable.

Altho settings would stop the DSR crashing wow on load up.

Thanks for the feedback.

My PSU is an OCZ 1250W ZX series and should be perfectly fine for the 970 (it was powering 2 580's previously).

The cables are braided cables that I received with the build from OCUK (I bought a bundle PC about 3 years ago) so I would presume they are ok, but of course theres always a possability they are not.

Im going to disable DSR anyway as it doesn't seem to do anything other than make the UI incredibly small on games which just irritates me.

How do I uninstall geforce experience? Everytime ive uninstalled and reinstalled drivers the experience is part of that driver. It seems impossible to have an Nvidia card with their experience software.

I've just posted in the CS sub forum asking to return my Infinity Card. The driver problems are a real headache for me. BF4 is not playable @ 4fps, while the GPU is sitting a 4% util.

Very poor and such a shame. Just glad I've kept hold of my 7970.

My only alternative is to plug my 2 580's back in and set up the watercooling loop again which i really cant be bothered doing.

You get 4fps in BF4?! Thats awesome. Mine crashes as soon as it tries to load.

Same story with WoW unless I load more than 1 at a time in which case 1 of them will work.

Sorry to hear you guys are suffering with these problems there certainly is a lot it's happening to certainly seems like Nvidia messed up the drivers hopefully it's gets fixed or when I build my 970 SLI system next month I might be returning my cards.
