I've noticed in single player games i'm using 98-100% GPU usage but in games like battlefield 4 on multiplayer i'm getting 70-100. The strange thing is on single player battlefield 4 i'm getting 100% constant.
Is something wrong? or is do i have to wait for a new driver from Nvidia to fix this?

CPU Bottlenck? what CPU are you running and at what speed?

CPU is at 80% on all cores and im running amd 8320 at 4.3GHz. My PSU fan seems to ramp up when im playing single player and its hitting 100% on gpu. So maybe its the PSU but dont understand why in single player its fine and multiplayer, usage goes down

I have an FX-8350 @ 4.6Ghz, i get CPU bottlenecking in BF4 MP running DirectX, thats what it is.

As for the PSU, it could be under heavy load which is why its ramping up the fan. what is it?

ok so i put my cpu to 4 ghz and turned down the volts to stock and its improved abit. even on battlefield 3 its about the same issue. So its either the PSU or some how im bottlenecked by the cpu even though its not at 100% usage :P doesn't make sense in my head. i got a 630 watt termaltake, its bronze certified. I'm gonna buy a corsair 800w. see what happens

The CPU doesn't need to be running at 100% before it starts bottlenecking the GPU. :)

It is bottlenecking, i know i have run tests to confirm this time and time again with BF4 MP.

630 Watts is more than enough for that setup, the PSU probably just has a loud fan..

I have an XFX 750 Watt, it gets warm when loaded and the fan speed does increase, its just not a loud fan.

now i have underclocked my GPU and its stayed the same usage. I'm certain its the PSU now :)

Edit... underclocking the GPU makes it slower so it will have less of a bottleneck.

Windows 8.1 does have better multi core support however I think you'll only notice a different switching to Intel.

I have the same CPU running at 4.8GHz and it couldn't cope that well with BF4.

My 4690k stops all over it.
