970 SLI HELP

Load up 2 copies of GPU-Z.
Make sure you change the focus on 1 so you are monitoring both cards.
In the sensors section set it so you are monitoring the MAX for each sensor.
Run a benchmark & check to see if the graphs are similar(should be almost identical).
Then run the games you are trying to improve performance.
Check the graphs again if they are similar. If they are not then it is something to do with the game setup or implementation of SLI
To reset the values in GPU-Z i just put the PC in sleep mode for a few seconds.

Good idea okay i will try this in a few hour sorting some stufff at the moment

+1 MSI afterburner for excellent graphs and monitoring + 64bit On screen display.

Honestly others are complaining about the SLI profile of these games, you might find in a month or two Nvidia drops some performance increasing driver but otherwise you have to do the whole nvidia inspector screw-around job to find a profile that works for you and increases your FPS and GPU usage.

Recently I have been super unhappy with SLI profiles of "SLI ready" game titles at launch(Or if it's not the profiles fault, which I'm pretty sure it is because I can switch out via Nvidia inspector for better performance) the games might be unoptimised or a combination of the two either way it makes me a bit sour myself about going down the SLI route.

However once in a while a game will come out with stellar gameplay, Multigpu support and good optimisation... being able to run those balls to the wall maxed out with DSR/Custom anti aliasing (SGSSAA, SMAA injectors etc) or a combination of the two and still maintain above 120FPS well that's the pinnacle of PC gaming right there!

meh i wish i could find a good profile tho lol ahah :(

oka did heaven benchmark on extreme and both the graphs on everything on afterburner was the same sometimes maybe 5% or less difference otherwise exactly the same

what is the SLI sync limit however
i kept seeing the bar dip down and up sometimes but it was exactly same for both

It really seems to come down to pot luck if you find a game that works properly in SLI definitely SLI is worth it but if you don't it's a pain in the ass. Assassins creed is a prime example that is completely unplayable at moment using SLI.
