I've noticed a few members on here having 9600 & 9800 graphics cards fitted with there ATI crossfire setups, is there any performance benefits doing this?

They use the nvidia card to run physx it the five or so games that are anygood to play.

I've got a 5770 crossfire setup with a 9800GT, not actually played any physx games to test it with, but it certainly bumps up my Vantage benchmark.

Just been reading that Nvidia's drivers are being made to stop people with ATI as there main card from using the 9800GT for Cuda, is this correct?

It is correct, however people have made patches that circumvents nVidia's efforts to stop it.
