Will this bad lad properly support dual monitors like ATI crossfire now does or will you have to go through the tom foolery of enabling SLI for gaming to gain 2 monitors like you do with normal SLI?
 
your kind of asking an unanswerable question, as untill someone gets hold of and properly uses a card then you wont know.

But it is the kind of thing you would hope nVidia would sort.
 
Word is that these gx2 cards will introduce multi screen with sli enabled drivers.
I don't have an exact date so let's leave it at 'some point in the future' :p:D

Mix and match is a waste of time really - aside from 3D Marks 06 epenis and crysis nothing else really gains any real benefits from it - sure your max fps goes astronomical and pulls your average fps up with it - but your minimum FPS where you really need the boost generally doesn't gain enough from it to make it worth it and in some cases actually drops to single card or even worse... the overhead with 4 cards can actually drop almost 30% off your min framerate in many games.
