Morning all I recently got this card from overclockers, but have noticed the card is running very hot 90c constant when playing games, Im playing at 2k at 144hz with nvidia G-sync.

Im just trying to find out if this is normal or there is something wrong with my card.

This is showing around a hour or so of mechwarrior online.

Certainly not normal. It should be running a good 20-25 degrees cooler than that. I can't imagine that even poor case airflow would result in temperatures that high, with a huge cooler and the fans running flat out.

I would contact customer support. That is too hot and your not even boosting up to high clocks and with that fan speed, it should be much lower temps with much higher boost clocks.

Thanks for the info and help have talked to overclockers and I am having a RMA sorted.

Now to feel bad going back to my old 680 gtx until I get a new card :(.
 
I think its simply a bad mount on the cooler or really bad TIM application. We will RMA no issue.
