Evening gents, quick question - any recommendations on the right screwdriver to remove the small X screws on the 980ti?, need to grab one to install my waterblock & can only find Philips (as opposed to a specific size).

Maplin or similar have nice screwdriver/torq sets for PC that are ideal for this job. The ones where the top of the handle rotates as you turn the body of the driver are excellent.

You defo need right size with the 980ti else it will slip damage the screws I had change the bit on mine as i found i was finding it really hard to get them out until i switch to a P00 over a P000 and it was easy.

If the screw does not come out easy you have wrong size,

Cheers for the tips, got the right screwdrivers & managed to get every single screw out of both graphics cards easily no problem.

But one screw. would not budge using the exact right size - determined as I was it get to the stage I knew it was not coming out & my warranty was out the door.

So....., I picked up my dremel metal cutter & edged into the cooler by the screw (1mm at a time to not damage the board) - once I got to it it seems to have some blue stuff at the end & was deformed into the metal.... :/.

Managed to get it out & install my EK block & the card is fine - the reference cooler will go back on (minus one screw) but no chance of sending it back with a part sliced off. :D:D:D
