Which is the best case and screen protector at the moment for the 9900 please?

Just got one today and want to keep it in good condition.

Don't really want a bit chunky case, as slim as possible please! :p

Thank you

For screen protector I've always used Martin Fields, they are a little bit more than the usual ones but are top quality and I've used them on all my Blackberrys and phones and have always been impressed with them.

As for cases, I tend to just use the supplied pouch, always seems enough protection for me :)

+1

Same as me, use Martin fields and the supplied pouch to carry my 9900.

these martin fields any good.?

I got a set of ebay for £3 for 10. put one on, its ok but 3 days later and you see the edges are slowly starting to raise. (on my BB 9900)

anyhow. to be honest. I do believe phone manufacturers should fit these as standard anyhow. As all my mobile phones come with a type of screen protector from the factory anyhow. Would make sense for them fit a proper protector on at source.

Mind you, just done some reading about the screen on 9900. It appears it is very hard to scratch it. reading various forums etc.

Any Martin Fields I've had have always lasted at least 18-24 months without any problems or lifting at all, they've all been 100% perfect (assuming you fit it right in the first place, like any screen protector).

To me its not worth scrimping on a few quid when you have a £500 phone to protect, just my opinion :)

Never found I need an extra case/protector with the 9900, I just use the leather pouch/holster and that works fine.

Slight thread hijack.

Has anyone used any of these invisible cases, a bit like a screen protector but for the whole phone? Are they any good?

Am thinking of getting one for my Curve.

They are ok, bit fiddly to put on but i found that they have an orange peel effect to them ie when you have put it on and slide your finger across, it isnt that smooth.

Hmmm, I'm not sure now. Might just go for a screen protector and the thinnest sleeve I can find for when I'm at work.

Why was it that texture, air bubbles or just the material? Thanks.

Its the texture and material that they use...everyone that i know of says the same thing about the invisible shield that it gives an orange peel effect.

There are other manufacturers of the invisble shield ie bodyguards and phantomskinz but not sure if you can get them here...might have to look at ebay or get them shipped from America.
