How !?!?!
I'd recommend some two sets of pliers and and a spare set of hands as it looks like you'll need one set to pull the connector out and the second to hold down the lock in mechanism on the connector

I think I'll try to super glue the broken piece back to the hard drive.I just need to find which is the right glue.

I've done that before lol. Mine happened when my sata power cable was so tight it snapped that part off removing it. Bit of super/gorilla glue will soon sort that
