A 50p Bet Bags A Lucky Punter £1,000,000

Sometimes results like that happen.

Not nearly as good but for Everton Arsenal I put on the following bets only :

Half Time / Full Time - Everton / Arsenal
Score - 1-4
First Scorer - Tim Cahill
Result - Arsenal Win

I won them all but only £72.50 for £4 put on.

Doesn't seem so crazy now with the amount of people that happily bet on the lottery.
 
^there are no other prizes on an accumulator though.... with the lottery the odds of winning a prize (not the jackpot) are a lot better.
 
Only time I've ever beted on anything (well got me dad to do it, was only 13 at the time) was putting £1 on a dog (Frisbe Jo or something) and got £20 in winnings.

Not quite on the same scale as this fella!

Hope he's quiting while he is ahead! lucky man.
 
I had a mate who put a huge accumulator on and would have won tens of thousands from £1, all his matches won, apart from the dead cert :p Was something like Real Madrid vs Basle
 
iv won a £360 placepot before. (£1 pick a horse per race that has to place)

he has an awesome mum style method for picking horses. like the grand national, i bet 90% of the people called simon in england bet on simon :p
