Yay! whenever i come back to this game, it requires me to fiddle around to get the game to actually start, then it requires me to frickin' run the CD key every time i play the game to stop getting duplicate errors and now... the patch breaks it....

If the game wasn't so good, i wouldn't keep coming back to it... Shame EA haven't got a clue, they may as well include a folder of .BAT files for the common fixes as they're so tedious and boring

EDIT: Well, this time the games gone... Start the .exe, comes to black screen waits there for 15 seconds or so and just exits, no error. try reapplying patch, says its updated... gonna have to redownload

right, i tried the Ganz HMG and it felt different, much better
whether this is just me i dont know, as the patch apparantly didnt nerf anything ... anyone else notice any diff ?

Since patching im CTD at the end of every single round. Did a fresh install + patch but cant tell if its helped cause the 3 servers ive been on have crashed before the rounds ended..

i grabbed it from fileplanet, installed no probs

btw, even though that last round i crashed out, it gave me the silver and pts ... niiiice

i recommend * TBE *The British Empire server, good fun, Admins are not idiots like some i can mention ..

Same thing crd after every game and i aint getting points for games i played on, what a suprise another messed up patch.

Well ive just played a full round and it crashed again at the end. The next thing is to try a diff server (usually play EA NL/DE) failing that its conquest only until they fix it.

Seems a lot of ppl are having this problem, how could they miss something like this lol

Yeah same for me CTD after Titan mode at end of round, I did get my points though but took ages to appear, also another time in titan as soon as I went down into the hull it went pitch dark, is this a new feature or a glitch/bug, not checked again to see if it happens all the time....typical EA

I just got my squad leader silver then it CTD, I lost the badge, but kept the points! Suits me, I get to enjoy another 500 points when I get it again!!

If u have ** lightning set to low then it will apper black inside the titan, you will need to set lighting to medium

What server do people frequent on? Myself, go on 50Klicks, seen one or two people with ocuk tags on there but they ignored me

Was on the 50K server tonight. I don't run VoIP.

The patch seems better with the server disconnects but I still get them.

Starting is a pain dur to the 6.7 cat drivers, nothing like starting 5 times (and having to kill the process) as it appears that the process runs but doesn't connect to the screen..

Managed to get a complete set of field unlocks too (except the padlocked one)

First time since purchasing the game. Pity they don't give you the next lot when you have them all.

Is it playable - yes, but still annoying with the disconnects!

Its makes it easier if OcUK members want to recognize each other to use [OcUK] tag.

Latest patch is v1.05

I'm "[OcUK] AnarchyInTheUK" and as that's my only soldier then I'm on usually in the evenings at some point.

To be honest I don't really talk much - I'm usually concentrating more on not getting killed or not letting my squad/team die (usually medic).

Has anyone had this error message when trying to install the patch - "Can't find install folder for Battlefield 2142"? Will not let me install the patch at all. The only thing I can think is that as I haven't got BF2142 installed on my C Drive that the patch can't find the game. Any ideas?
