People may think Harleys really under perform but they seriously don't the Dark Custom sportster range is really impressive, they handle really well and pull like a tank not as good as a sports bike granted but that's not what having a Harley is all about.

I don't know much about the model range, but I think the OP's bike is an "Iron 883"? In which case it has a dry weight of nearly 250kg and about 53bhp. Frankly I doubt that the performance or handling is going to surprise me (at least not in a good way), even my little SV650 would leave it for dead.

Still, horses for courses I suppose. I enjoy bikes for the speed and handling; if others enjoy them simply for the image then I don't have a problem with it, even though I don't understand it.
