A bit confused regarding laptop DDR3 memory - PC3-12800 or PC310700

Hello,

I currently have a Samsung NC-110 Netbook which has 1gb of PC3-10700 (667 mhz) memory.

I have looked around for an upgrade to 2gb (OCUK dont actually sell the 2gb module I need) and the stick of ram that a certain memory manufacturers memory advisor suggests is PC3-12800.

Will a PC3-12800 stick run ok in the laptop even though it currently has PC3-10700?

It will be fine, although the faster stick will be slowed down to 1333MHz to match the slower stick.

Since its a netbook it only has a single memory slot and the Atom processor has a limit of 2gb which is rather annoying.

Are you 100% sure about it working, I cant seem to find any documentation that gives a definitive answer.
