Apologies if this is in the wrong place!

I've got my driving test tomorrow and feel confident as I know I can drive well etc, but I'm still a bit worried about not passing :p

I took a test a good few years ago and failed with 1 major and 5 minors for not looking over at my left blind spot coming up to a bus lane on my left.

I've been learning on and off for a few years (thanks to lack of money and time) but now I'm finally in a decently paid job I've found the time to throw myself in back in November 2011 till now.

Anyway, any advice? All welcome :p

I passed about three weeks ago, as long as you go in to the test confident you should be ok. Just make sure you don't make any silly mistakes - take your time and think about what you are doing before you do it.

Try not to worry too much, the examiner will have seen it all before. I mean I hit another car on my first test, although I blame the other women driver for the whole incident.

Take things slow, and don't rush things.

Don't let the examiner get to you. Most don't speak much, not even a hello when you first meet then.
Don't be put off by their lack of talk, just concentrate on the task at hand.

Do some lunges/stretches to ease the nerves in front of the examiner before you get in the car. Also it will show him/her you mean business!

I failed my first test with exactly the same majors & minor figures as you.

Stay confident, but don't be cocky. Take your time, and breeze through it.

i dont know if this will be a problem for your test, but my dad failed his test to become a driving instructor because of braking too hard on several occasions. before the test he dosed himself up with anti flu meds because he had a cold/manflu/whatever. it was only after the test that he found out that if you take anti cold/flu meds you are far more likely to brake too hard and generally be a bit more aggressive with the controls.

i dont know if this will be a problem for you though because the test to become a driving instructor is stupidly hard

Should I also throw in some jumping jacks for good measure? :D

Aim for the old woman.

Which old woman should I aim for?

Thank you for the good luck and the more serious advice that, some of you gave :P I appreciate it!
