A bit of a blast from the past - nostalgia inside

Battlezone, Half Life1, Thief, Kingpin, Midtown Madness, Need for Speed high Stakes and Porsche Unleashed... well and DOOM of course - although I preferred it on PS1. Good memories:)

Battlezone was pretty damn good at the time; bit of fighting and a bit of base building and resource collecting. :)

Star Trek: Birth of the Federation was a fun turn based stratrgy game, wish I could get it working again but no idea how windows 7 will react to it. :D

Unreal Tournament: got that along with Quake 3 one Christmas and Quake barely got a look in. :)

Outlaws! Awesome :D Remember getting stuck on that for weeks, what a game though - great memories. Also AoE, playing online over dialup building maxed out armies and charging them at each other after walling in a villager somewhere :D "dont point that thang at me"

This thread has made me remember Rogue Squadron - they should remake that IMO - was amazing fun with the Sidewinder FF too.

Also AoE, playing online over dialup building maxed out armies and charging them at each other after walling in a villager somewhere :D "dont point that thang at me"

Me and my mate used to play co-op most of the time, I'd find him and we'd both team up to build a super base and fight against multiple CPU opponents.

I'm in the process of finally giving my ancient PC & 8 Bit CPC games the heave ho. It's not an easy thing to do though. :(

Loving the stuff in Qel's pic. Star Wars Supremacy, Tie Fighter and especially CIV 2. 2 was probably my favourite of the series, just for Elvis alone. :D

As for Kristoph's pic, Carmeggedon and the CD gamer disc of Shogun make me smile. I had that demo disc and played it to death!

Worms £29.99!!!!!!!! :eek::eek::eek::eek:

Well it considering it was from HMV, he got it quite cheap! :D

Why haven't they ever done a new X-Wing game, it would be epic, Mr Lucas seems happy enough to pimp Yoda out to anybody with a couple of $$$

Ah the good old days before everything was ruined by DRM and DLC and ridiculous amounts of patching.

Soldier of Fortune was a particularly fond memory from that lot, me and mates were loving blasting people's legs off etc. etc. :D

OUTLAWS!!! A-mazing. I must have played the demo of that through a hundred times.

"Here piggy-piggy. Here piggy"

Those pictures make me a little sad.....

I certainly played the Outlaws demo to death.

I even remember the shotgun hidden behind the church altar thing.

One of the main reasons for buying CD Gamer after Half Life came out was for the different mods. So many good addons.
