Well do you need anything? I don't see why you would buy something just to fill the space! :)

What he said. You'll increase the power your system requires. I don't understand why you'd want to fill empty slots just for the sake of it?

I think he's just wondering what he COULD put in there, the "not too much" bit is because given a limitless quote, people on here can find nearly anything.

Yeah every few years useless slots are released (CNR!) I think SATA controllers are available, however the placement of the smaller PCI-E slots are in the way if you have dual slot graphics card. Asus CSM is opposite end of the board, but MVP is right below top graphics slot.

CNR was always going to fail tbh.
it was only EVER used for 56k modems and a PCI slot could do the job just as well if not better, so there was no real advantage to having one.

Very good....

wasn't looking for anything particular just if there was anything 'wow' that'll use it... :)
only things i can really think of is the terratec tv tuner and i think there may be a wireless card also there is an intel lan card but i doubt you would want it as the board has 2 already
