I'm wondering if there are any reasonably sized ATX cases out there.

I don't need optical bays, I don't need HD bays, and they make up about the third of the length of most cases which is annoying, all I need is the smallest possible enclosure to fit a full ATX mobo.

The closest things I can find are the Lian Li PC-A05FNx and Lian Li PC-A55x

I'm wondering if anyone knows if there is anything that fits the bill? I've looked at every case from every retailer I can find but I can't really find anything that's ATX without lots of wasted space.

It also can't be wider than 250mm, so squat cube type cases are out.

It'd be great if you guys could let me know if you know of anything that I might be interested in!

JMC r2 toast - cooling isn't great but it's REALLY small for a case that takes full atx mobo's and psu's.
But it's easy to cut the case to allow larger fans

R2 - 340(D) x 420(H) x 180(W)
A05 - 500mm(D) x 385mm(H) x 210mm(W)

You could make it even smaller without the front bezal (but it would look rubish)

here's the one I still own

A05FN/NB are the best options, the A55 is terrible for any kind of airflow.

not sure why u say its terrible airflow
1x140mm intake and 2x140mm out (including psu)
for such a small case thats pretty good, also its top and bottom which always helps
