Did a build recently for my sons girlfriend and was looking for a decently priced mid range Amd card, no chance I will not buy from anyone with inflated prices because of these miners. Found an old 7850 card in the garage and am actually surprised at how well it performs. Also shows how little graphics cards have moved on. My 980Ti turned out to be a good buy thanks to all the inflated prices and still rocks.

New here, though I have lurked from time to time a number of years ago. Ended up going for a gaming laptop at the time. Have been gaming on 970m (GS60) and was thinking of building a desktop rig. Hadn't even realised there was a shortage of cards until I started looking to upgrade over the last few weeks. Decent Radeons are like gold dust and 1070s out of stock almost everywhere (at least almost everywhere that deliver to Ireland). Similar to the shortages a few years ago after the floods in asia.
May very well pull the trigger on a G1 next week though

Thank you, we had a miner call this morning who literally said I have £40,000 to spend with you, what can I have. They wanted these and were not too impressed that we'd not give them anything less than £450 per card, which of course meant we were able to suggest other cards to them which are not as demanded by gamers.
But that is literally how these miners operate, they mine, turn it into cash, then buy more cards with said cash. Pretty crazy times to be honest!
