Forgive me but I didnt really want to post this in the offical thread and it get lost with only a couple of answers.

Tonight Ive been deciding which settings to use for the full game when properly release.

I have settled on the following but cannot decide whether to use no AA or 4XAA. All very high except Medium Shadows and Medium Post Processing (Sunbeams and colour grading enabled).

I get a managable 22FPS with 4xAA but ive read in a couple of places the game slows down as it progesses. Without AA I get a super smooth 30FPS dipping down to 20FPS when like 3 buildings collasp at the same time.

So question is do you run with or without AA, do you put up with the horrible jaggies for more performance or do you prefer everything looking crisp?

The first time I played, I played without AA and it didn't seem too much of a problem. But I did get spoiled after seeing it with 4x. I find it hard on the eyes on 22FPS though so I don't use AA now. Can't answer you on the gradual slow down though

If you are playing the game as an action fps then do no AA. If you are going to play it as stealth and use cloaking lots and basically take your time then I guess you might as well use AA.

Personally I dont think AA is needed if the frame is constantly changing, its for screenshots and scenic adventures and all that pansy stuff :p

Personally I'd take the framerate hit because I hate playing Crysis and lots of modern games without AA. The more detail that's on screen, the more it seems to look terrible to me with AA off. I never used to be bothered but with graphics being so realistic these days, the jaggies ruin the sense of immersion.
