Had the greatest night tonight.
Let me give you the back story first.
My squadrons commander is awesome and recently started a new squadron 'game'. He selected a stuffed animal toy to act as the squadron mascot and said that the idea was that every flight try and take the mascot from whatever flight has possesion of it. Well, to start things off he took possesion of it and kept it in his locked office inside the locked building.
Myself and a few other guys decided to have one guy get into the building before they lock the doors and hide in an empty office until everyone leaves and then let the rest of the group in.
Once we were in we tried to remove the ceiling tiles to climb over the wall through the plenum, but the commanders room doesnt have any removable plenum and is straight wall.
The only other way was through his locked door. We constructed a 'key' from clothes hangers and unlocked it from the other side.
Once we were in we took the animal, got a few photos of us posing decently with the animal in his office and left him a note.
We cleaned up after ourselves and then went back to our building, took a few more photos with it bound with tape and working the front desk etc and then sent a ransom e-mail to the entire squadron with the photos.
It has been an awesome night and I am still excited. It was really wierd breaking into my commanders office but he knew our intentions and didnt indicate at all that he didnt like the idea.
Anyways, the animal is now in a safe place and hopefully I wont be standing tall before The Man in the morning.
