A day at the workshop...

Cool stuff Andy! :)

I find it very interesting working on cars, shame I'm to stupid to do it though! :p

Keep it up! :D

Where did you find out about this unit Andy? I need to find somewhere suitable in the next few months for me and a mate, struggling to find somewhere big enough that isn't silly money atm though :(

A friend of mine was keeping his eye open. I don't know how he found it but we looked at several places.

Best thing to do is just check out local industrial estates. Our unit is owned by a guy who has his own factory... the units are simply an extension of the factory.

I cannot and will never understand your infatuation with Rovers. However, kudos for your passion and dedication and major jealously for getting that lockup.

;)

Gaijin, take a look outside. What's that sitting on your driveway if it isn't a Rover? ;) :p :D

Seriously though, I wouldn't say I've got an infatuation with them. When I was looking for a first car, I had Mk1 Clio's in mind. My Dad (having had quite a few BL cars) suggested I look at a Rover 214.

I started looking around and was taken in by the SEi model... half leather seats, alloys, PS, EW and ES... all for the same price of a bog standard 1.2 Clio.

It's all just spiraled from there really. Each car I've had has been a step up in performance. I doubt I'll get another Rover after the 420 though... not that I plan to get rid of the 420 anytime soon.. it's great fun to drive and I can't fault it one little bit!

I wasn't particularly fussed about getting the 220, but if it saves a car from the scrappy, why not :)
