Went on a trip to Chester Zoo yesterday, thought I'd share a few pics.
I've not had much experience with my A200, so feel free to add your critiqué.

:)

Nice pics! The meerkat is my favourite, and agree with the new crop above.

Only thing is, the last photo of the lion doesn't seem too sharp, maybe apply a little USM in PS, or did the camera just misfocus slightly?

I recognise that lion :D. How did you manage to get a shot without the fence visible? Best i could get:

Nice shots. most of mine came out rubbish as there was thousands of people there as we went on mothers day. Couldn't get anywhere near the chimps or the Jaguar :(.

Some really good shots. However I think most of them could do with some cropping.

Try some tighter crops and see how they come out.

For example:

Yeah I think I'll try some crops and see how they look.

Yeah on second glance the log next to the lion seems in focus more. Must have been me/the camera :)

I was surprised the fence got missed out tbh, you can just about see some hazyness from the fence in some of them but I was quite pleased overall.

We went mid week during term time and it was dead :D

Some nice pics there. When we went there were hardly any animals about, they were well out of the way and the ones that were closer where swarmed with mothers and their kids.

The elephants were awesome. Massive enclosure, which made it much easier to take pics.
