Nice ones, i wouldn't of really shot the ones you did against the mud, looks quite dull, but the ones of the sunset are great!!!

No choice i'm afraid on the mud birds are only there when tides out. But thanks for the comments..

Always love seeing your sunsets, stunning.

Have to come up here sometime. You can get within 50 yards of Curlews etc at low tide around Woodbridge Quay.

Edit - Can't you use two front stuffers as stilts to wade a bit nearer?

I'm not sure on this one but would a polarising filter have taken out the glare and dull whiteness in the mud on the first few? Could that have done the trick or am I thinking stupidly?

I like them all, but I'm thinking that perhaps the top shoreline in the first three isn't doing them any favours.
Perhaps try a narrow crop?

Thanks for the comments lads .the bird ones are cropped @ about 50%. And yes a polarizer would help but an 86mm for the Bigma is a little to much for my pocket at the moment but is on the wish list..
