hi guys, im a student at Cheadle & Maple collage and for my ICT AS unit 2 i need to research a website, so because i have bought components from this website i chose this one. Unfotunatly i can find much about your histiory so if some one can help with these questions:
How long has the company been running:
Revenue:
Operating income:
Net income:
Headquarters:
Key people:
A bit about your history:
Do you operate outside the UK:
Do you sell on the high street:

How does the website capture the customer’s information overtly?

How does the website capture the customer’s information covertly?

those are the only questions i need asking about and it would really help me if i could get all the info about the questions above and before Friday 24th September.

thanks.

thats the difficulty their is nothing on the website that i can find, and the website hasn't got a wikipedia page so im hoping an admin who helped set up the website could give me some of the information i need because my teacher said that if i cant find any info freely displayed on the website ask the forums and if that doesn't work ask customer support and if that doesn't work give up and "make it up?"

Your best bet would be direct contact (off the forums). The company, especially as it's a private company, may consider some of those to be sensitive 'trade secret' information, so don't expect answers to all of them.

The rest you can get from a few searches on the forum/site. Hint: the owner of the forum - Spie - is the company chairman. He would be a 'key person' then. :)

that sounds like a far smarter option to take, what is the websites email address because all other contact info is based on RMA, complaints and order enquires, i need the simple email address because to make this a bit easier and simper for us. i guess.

Tbh I'd give their sales line a call anyway. They surely would have some idea who you could talk to / transfer you to. It's not a very small company and has a large forum presence. The name's well known you're probably by far not the first person who's looking at it from an academic point of view.

Spie did once put some details up about the history of OcUK. Can't remember when it was though!

TBH though, as it's a private company they don't really have to tell you anything!
