Hi all, as im slowly gearing towards my new build I have a few questions that hopefully you all know the answer to

I've seen a lot of people recommend the noise blocker PWM fans as the fans to go for, for the radiator due to how quiet they are. Is it a good idea to use them for every fan in my case (PWM version) so that I can regulate the speed of all of them?

That leads me onto the next question which is I am looking into getting a Phantek case which has the PWM hub on it, if I connect all my fans to the hub and the speed is regulated by the motherboard itself does that mean the fans should always stay pretty much silent? or is there more to be done than just simply that to maintain whisper quietness?

Yes, using the same fans will be fine, and yes, that's all you need to do to have it be quiet.

I'll put in another recommendation for Noiseblockers, I have a 92mm one and it is literally inaudible at max RPM (only 1400 but still, I mean complete silence with my ear as close as I can get it).

Ahh thank you! :) with all the fans PWM controlled on the cpu fan header, could I use a program to control the fan speeds? or is it all automated and that's that?

Also I have heard dye's can stain your tubing after a while but what about a premixed fluid such as a pastel red for example, would that also potentially stain the tubing over time or is that ok?

and finally for now, if im looking to cool a DC 4790k and a 780ti, is a single 360rad sufficient for that? thank you :)

As far as dye's go you will get some staining over time. It depends a lot on the mix and the tubes as to how fast it will set in. Use cheap tubes and you will get problems early for example. I know a lot of people just skip the dye and get colored tubes, which is a safe option, but if your hopes are set on dyes just make sure the dye is made by Mayhems.

Pastel has a greater chance of coloring your tubes from what I've read. It also blocks components easier and needs changing more regularly!

For dye get Mayhems X1, for colored tubes and safe fluid get Mayhems Ultra Pure H20.

Both look great!

As great as coloured dyes look and I think they look slightly better than coloured tube I think it's always better to use coloured tubes just from a loop maintenance standpoint. No staining or potentially clogging up a block or a radiator or even a pump god forbid.

Yeh im gonna go with coloured tubing rather than the dye's in that case. While aesthetics are nice and the dyes do look nice at the end of the day I am watercooling for performance and sound ahead of how it looks :)

Yeh I will be oc'ing, I can add another rad then :) im planning on getting the Evolv so I don't know if it will be 1x360 and 1x240 or something else yet, we'll see how it pans out, can always go for the Phanteks Pro as well :)
