A few rookie questions.

Hi guys, I was hoping you'd be able to answer some question I have regarding a recommendation for a monitor.

Price, up to £400 but lower the better.
Resolution, 1440p preferably, I will be getting a 1070 and want to game at good frame rate still.
27" or higher.

Led vs lcd?

i think adaptive sync is a must have (i buy good 8 monitors a year) all have sync tech now..

these give you 27" 1440p 144hz and IPS/TN

tn is faster but less colour accurate. ips is slightly slower but much better colours.

Means you're essentially using VSync but not tied to fixed screen Hz. The display will change it's refresh rate to match the FPS of the game so you get zero tearing.

And tearing is annoying, Wish i coudl get a g-sync monitor
