Ahh but thats justified, i can buy a garage in london for the same price t'up north of a 3 bedroom terrace with its own working coalmine and child in cloth cap to run up the hill with my hovis every morning.

What do I mean by wrong? Well I disagree with him 99% of the time. I mean, the North better than the South?? The Stone Roses being >*? Cold weather > hot? I could go on for hours...

Does anyone out there share my opinion, or am I simply a misguided pleb who needs to see the light and become agreeable with the masses?

Just read the op and all I can say is it is an opinion and not a fact so it doesn't have to be true it's just what he believes and there is going to be some disagreement about it.

Perhaps down in puffy southern climates but up here in t'north (or t'midlands) the women go out in the same clothes they go out in summer.
Northern and Midland women are hard.

i think you're mistaking the 'North' for 'Yorkshire' :p

And then, you're mistaken again, it's not justified. The inflated wages are just to mollify your inflated egos. But then we're used to you Southerners being wrong, it's just usually you're so far up your own asses that we can't hear what you're going on about ;)
 
No-one has to agree with his opinions (or anyones for that matter) and at least he doesn't change them to suit his audience. 'E noes wort 'e liikes & 'e liikes wort 'e noes. :)

When I first got onto the forums I thought him extremely arrogant, but I guess it's just how he comes across and as he says in a post above he can't be bothered starting every post with an "IMHO..." which is fine by me. We're all entitled to our opinion etc not here to judge etc zzzz
