You are 2 laps into a 7 lap race and unfortunately collide/get taken out on a corner.

Your car is able to do 30mph although pulling strongly to the right, virtually unraceable.

With most racers, you have the incentive to get to the pit lane so you can get repairs and continue the race.

With GRID, there is little to NO reason to race in this state, hence why soo many people online simply go the wrong way round the track etc.

No PITS/Repair facility hurts the gameplay in my opinion.

i imagine that would ruin gameplay, people ruining the experience by deliberately nailing you, though even in reality theres some damage that can't be repaired, just wish GT5 had damage :(

The races are too short to effectively repair the car anyway, the time it takes to go to the pits would mean last place anyway.

Yes i stopped playing the online 360 demo because of this, i would be 1st/2nd most of the time then some childish tards would just place there cars in middle of track on a blind corner so its almost impossible to avoid them...

And the vote options are rediculas no end of times they've kick voted me for being #1 on the 3 race grid table

always seem to be yanks to....

its a demo, it has children who just want to ruin things

there is also a massive thread on this forum with this matter discussed many many times, the full game has private servers you can setup to race friends or have league races with options to kick or ban

So, is this game worth buying? I wasn't such a big fan of DiRT, but maybe because that was rallying. Is it worth the $$$?

This game impresses me.

Should get my pre-order delivered today fingers crossed :)

A good way of bringing the Race Driver series to the masses.

Leans toward Aracde with its Sim roots visible but only just.

Will likely play between this and rFactor for competitive racing although some GRID OCUK nights maybe fun :)
