A food/drink gift for a Roman

black pudding is eaten right across italy...and in spain

its not a uniquely british product..but it would be a good comparison to take some stornaway black pudding and see how it differs!

cheeses are a better idea as they are very regional..and the italians love regional food and are very proud of it

again sausages..the italians love a good sausage..and it would be interesting to compare things like cumberland or lincolnshire sausage with italian regional varieties
