I'm replacing the coloured LED's on a coolermaster megaflow 200mm fan, the LED's are set in a type of bonding agent that's like rubber, it's really easy to peel off but it keeps the LED's securely in place, obviously to be non conductive.

Any ideas what they used ?

Stixall builders adhesive might work. I've seen similar stuff used to stick in the ihs on delidded cpu's.

I use Fixall to glue just about everything nowadays, sets like rubber and sticks to almost anything, used it recently to fix the ruber foam armrests on a chair, to glue voltmods to my graphics cards. Works for just about everything, cant comment on if its corrosive though, ive not noticed it dmg anything yet, thats about the best i can say, and it doesnt say corrosive on the tube.

Glue gun should do it like suggested above.

Plus you'll find yourself getting carried away wanting to glue all sorts of things :D In my case I did anyway.

I picked up some high temperature silicone adhesive (designed for ovens, etc.) for something similar(ish) but not got around to testing it yet.

I would suggest CT1 - http://www.ct1ltd.com/en/ct1.html - I use this stuff for loads of different jobs and it's great.

Odourless
Does not shrink
Can be painted
Contains no solvents
No isocyanates
Unique flexibility
Enviromentally friendly

Not many places stock this but i found some at my local covers.
