You need some compressed air to blow out the crap. Sounds like you have crap in some of your controls too, so I'd try cleaning them with some DeoxIT contact cleaner.

Yep, i did you compressed air the blow some of the crap out. What are the contols? Do you mean inside the amp and the components or outside?

update, i should have a new (bought august 09) NAD C352 next week. Paid £220 which includes 3 year warrenty

A friend has one attached to his Monitor Audio speakers and the combination is superb. Good price too!!

Dont cover any vents this time, amps run hot, and they need air circulation to cool them. You can get a myriad of faults caused by overheating. I have my monitor sitting on my amp, but the monitors foot plate doesnt cover any of the airvents

How could i put my monitor on the amp but not have it covering the vents? Thought about sitting it on a bit of wood with stacks of coins or something on the 4 corners
