I have Coretemp, but the temp seems a little wrong, it says both cores are 219 F.

Well, your one option is basically lm-sensors

Not sure what you would have to do to set it up without knowing what distro you're on, but generally it's install the package, run 'sensors-detect', press yes half a dozen times, set it up to use this config permenantly then run sensors (or just the ones you want). Then find a front end for it when you realize that the command line isn't really the best option in this instance - or put it into Conky.

Oh, since you posted this in the linux subforum I was assuming that was your target platform! Sorry, I won't be much use when it comes to windows, I think coretemp was what I've used in windows in the past.

Well if you want to be like that then actually the sub-title on the forum is:

and basic logic says that if you want to know about an application for Windows, be that open or closed source, then it would be better to ask in the Windows sub-forum as that is where you are likely to find the relevant audience.
