Im on the lookout for a new PC gamepad. Currently I have a wireless Xbox 360 controller and I love it for most games, especially racing games I think the triggers work excellently in racing games.

One thing I hate it for is fighting games like Street Fighter. This is because I don't like fighting games on an analogue stick and I think the dpad on the Xbox controller is super crappy, its not like a dpad at all, more like a joystick with 'dpad groove's'... its one big button basically!

I really liked the dpad on the Playstation 2 Dual Shock pad when I had it, four separated buttons making up the dpad and have been looking into getting a PS3 Dualshock 3 pad, which I know you can get to work with PC and are quality pads. However there's loads and loads of them out there and I'm quite lost so was hoping you guys had opinions on what pads you got and what they are like?

he means a good game pad is called a keyboard and mouse.

A bit of practice and you'll be able to do so much more than with a pad at least in fps games

Fair enough, but I prefer a gamepad with many games, like racing and fighting games and was just looking for some opinions on some pads!

That new dpad on that Xbox controller looks interesting after a search, I never did know they updated it. Thanks.
I have one, it feels better but there is still too much movement in the pad so for the most part it feels the same.
