A Good Upgrade?

Hi guys, just looking for a bit of advice:

I currently have:

4600+ X2
2GB ram
and a 7600GT XXX
and all the other stuff

is it worth me getting a 9600GT to replace my 7600 which is beginning to show its age - i am on a bit of a budget and was looking at the 9600GT and was wondering if it would be a good idea to get one - i am open to other suggestions, but only have a budget of around £150 for the card

At £150 i would go for the 8800GT, practically the same card but better performance.
