Looks good, Brannagh is certainly slamming these Poirot films out, whats that 3 in 5 years?
also watched last night, also felt the tone was off compared the the two other ones (would guess due to date of release trying to get the horror folks in?)I watched over the weekend, loved the first 2 but this one didnt work for me. I cant quite put my finger on it but perhaps the theme or tone of how it shot was what made the difference. the story itself was a little underwhelming as well. Pretty poor tbh.
Btw took me 10 times to get into this thread cause for some reason threads dont show properly sometimes where the formatting is all over the place. See the html code behind it with firefox? anyone else have this issue?

looking on wiki a few days ago, it also cost like 60 mill! i just dont see how? cast except KB is z list at best, it all happens in one place - maybe 6 rooms at the most, and maybe 3 /4 days on location in Venice, and there isn't really a soundtrack. I have seen bbc dramas / itv dramas with similar production values, and there is no way they are spending 30 mill a hour
Yea i did post that on another page on mondayDue to be released digitally on Oct 31st (next week), I guess to coincide with Halloween.

Worth the purchase ?Finally watched it. It makes sense they saved teh release for Halloween, but really its just a murder mystery, no real horror to speak of.
Some plot points you could see coming and others were genuine twists. I woulds say its not as good as Orient Express, but better than Nile. I generally like ensemble mysteries anyway, so I will give it a generous 8/10
