A Haunting In Venice

Just watched it, it is OK but not great. Something I can't quite put my finger on is a bit off with it. Though not done throughout was nice they dropped some stuff in the audience could figure out if on the ball, personally was a bit late catching on to it but I wasn't really paying that much attention either.

Defiantly the worst of the 3 movies, and not a patch not he original Agatha Christie story.

Agreed, I really struggled with this one.

Oritent Express was really good, but both this and the second film just haven't lived up to the first imo.

Still haven't watched any of the Poirot films with Brannagh because i'm such a big fan of David Suchet as Poirot that it might sully it for me.
Me also, having watch Suchet in the tv series I can't imagine anyone else playing the part. It's the same with Sherlock Holmes and Jeremy Brett!

I'd say Branagh fills the role well enough you wouldn't really notice if it wasn't for the rest of the movies is so so-so, but the little touches aren't there which made Suchet a master of the role.

I didn't think much of this, saw it at the cinema when it came out because my wife is a Poirot fan. I am not a Poirot fan and to be honest it was just a bit dull for my liking.
