Hi there

For those who want insanely high FPS to go with 144-240Hz refresh monitors or need a CPU that can power the latest 2080Ti, even in SLI, then you need frequency, so OcUK has put together a pair of bundle deals to try and offset the current high cost Intel processors are selling for generally world wide.

Both are these bundles are capable of 5.0GHz and high memory speeds as the Aorus memory kit uses Samsung B Die so also has some overclocking potential.

The bundles come with the following FREE items:

When you factor in all the FREE software and the FREE 3D NAND Gigabyte SSD, these bundles are absolutely unbeatable and help bring the value back to Intel. :)

The memory in my opinion is the best RGB kit on the market, OK yes some of the super-fast and equally expensive G.Skill kits will clock to 4000MHz plus, but that also requires a great IMC. These Gigabyte kits guarantee B Die, they tend to hit 3600-3733MHz in Intel platforms and you also get the dummy modules so you can fill all 4 banks and I think they are the best looking and most classy modules yet.

The Master motherboard I've don't have personal experience with yet, but again it looks a solid mainboard, its not an extreme overclocking board, but it is very capable, but again at the same time does not cost £500 like some of the crazy OC boards are fetching.

It is about offering a bundle that can run 5.0GHz all cores with a top cooler, 3200-3733MHz tight latency memory and look great whilst doing so and also representing some value which is not so easily done with anything Intel at the moment, but these pair of bundles I feel to bring value and Intel back into the same sentence. :)

Able to sell on ? Cover costs?

@Gibbo VRM seems to do very well, better then what was told ...

From what Gigabyte tell me the Aorus Master is rated to run a 9900K at 5.2GHz 24/7 stable, so it seems a pretty sorted mainboard. Of course they do the Extreme and Asus and MSI will have extreme boards but in reality they are totally unnecessary for 99% of users and really are for more extreme users wanting to push really high CPU and RAM overclocks.

Guessing the value on some of those included bundles goes through some kind of random number generator? Surely PUBG, Paladins and Battlefield 1 can't be £150 even on the most expensive market?

Intel the values and they would have been set at the time they announced the bundle which was some months ago.

The value end of day is whatever you perceive it to be, the game bundles have zero impact on the prices we charge as they are supplied to us at zero cost, but for many customers they like the free software bundles as they are games they do not own, so a nice bonus.

We're the 5.2 bin 8086k on today only? Just had one in my basket and now they have shot back up again

This week only which has now ended, what price was it in your basket? I can put it back down tomorrow for you around midday, the system won't allow me to change price again until 24hr, its just a legality.

Hey Gibbo was looking to get the 8086k bundle but it seems to have gone up in price, had it in the basket to any chance when it will be coming back.
Same I was looking to order that tomorrow. It’s gone up by £40

This should now be back to £799 !

Be quick as we shall be withdrawing this bundle soon simply as our 8086K stock is now nearly fully depleted and as it was a limited edition CPU by Intel we can no longer source any more unless you pay over £600 which we won't be doing.

I think if an equivalent ASUS board was bundled up with the same RAM, CPU, Software and free SSD id pull the trigger. Same board and i would too...

Won't be happening, its a Gigabyte deal, they fund these bundles.

When Asus want to start giving us some money to discount and offer free items with bundles then we may do something but right now unlikely, especially as Asus don't make any memory or SSD's.

If you want Asus, you need to buy items separately and yes we have plenty of 9900K in stock.

Ok no prob @Gibbo, i wasnt sure how it worked your end and if you guys made the deals. That makes much more sense now. I will await a new Gigabyte deal if/when it arrives then :). Thanks for clarifying

This deal is still live and will be our Gigabyte 9900k bundle going forward, more motherboards are due today so the bundle will be back in stock today. :)

Resale buddy. @Gibbo can you please confirm the OEM processor packaging? Thanks

Comes in a very basic foam padded white box, how we've shipped OEM for years.

They arrive to use on trays of 21, we remove from trays and put into small white boxes for webshop sales to some what protect the CPU, so yes don't be surprised if there is finger print on CPU as warehouse guys handle them to put them in the little boxes, though they are told to wear gloves.

They aren't listening :p

Cleans right off with alcohol before applying TIM anyway.

I've emailed the warehouse manager to enforce tray CPU's are handled with gloves, I know its only a finger print but when you drop £600 or in case of a 7980xe like £2000 on a CPU you expect it to be spotless.

Shame really as it's kinda a deal breaker for me not having an "official" box. Yes yes I know, I shouldnt care as it's just slotting into the motherboard.. I'll think a bit more about it...

Thanks @Gibbo for confirming by the way

First batch of retails land tomorrow fingers crossed. :)
Then more next week which should clear all the pre-orders, unfortunately this second batch has cost us £100 more than first batch due to been grey stock, hence the supplier wanted big money for them.

Yes but they won't be part of this deal will they. You prob don't read this much but it must be hard for you to be consistent with prices when suppliers move them around like they do

Why we put the price higher, as the second batch was pretty much what we were selling for previously but right now its better to have expensive stock, fulfill the back orders and have product rather than have nothing at all, because if I don't buy it a competitor will.

No retail stock would not be used for these bundles anyway due to retail stock being so hard to source.

@Gibbo how does the 9900k bundle compare performance wise to say picking up the 9900k with say the Strix Z390-e and Team Group Xtreem edition 16gb DDR 4 4500mhz 8pack ram?
I can take or leave the freebies as nice as they may be :)

Not sure on that mainboard but I know for high memory frequencies the Asus Gene is the favourite.
