They are all frequently seen examples of where a is not being allowed to be a word when it should be. You guys don't have any point to make regarding "awhile".

You could have saved yourself some time had you seen my preemptive iseewhatudidthere :)

you made no mention of context though?

and apparently your not even saying their wrong as you said you never said that's what the cross means, so this just seams like spam like me posting

"these words may or may not be ok for use good day"

I really don't mind this tbh, no letters are missed out, it is just the shortening of a word. this perfect grammar you use now was considered incorrect at some point by someone but guess what a language has to evolve some how.

The thing that gets me is the extreme over use and incorrect use of the word genius, everything is ******* genius these days, what happened to ingenious, and I really would be annoyed if I was actually a genius.

Calm down. I wanted to remind the world that a is a word. Just as the topic says.

really you could have just said "a is a word." a sentence which contains a as two different kinds of word!
or you could have just not bothered making a pointless thread

"Abit" is a word too, albeit a proper noun.

"a lot" is a word too, albeit an acronym (It's the market ticker symbol for Astro-Med, Inc.).

Merry Christmas!
