Got my Lian Li PC-101B at the weekend and must say it's a wonderful case! A good friend of mine has an S80 and on first inspecting it i knew i wanted a case from this manufacturer!

Here are a few pics of the build:

First off i took a 'one for old times' pic of my old Gateway 2000 server case. It had done a wonderful job (for free) but i'm afraid it was time to move on!

So here's the case - compact but perfectly formed! ;)

pc3.jpg

PSU in! It's gonna be interesting tidying those cables... next upgrade - modular supply!

pc4.jpg

Mobo in and looking good! The case is very easy to work in and there's absolutely no chance of injuries due to sharp edges... fondly remember's past PC installations involving bloodied and painful hands! :p

pc5.jpg

Same stage but different angle! Even though the scythe Kama bay's silver i think it complements the black silver theme of the door! Gonna get a silver drive bay cover and 3.5inch adapter to go with it i think!

pc6.jpg

All in and ready to go! Once i get some more zip ties i think it'll look a bit neater but for now i'm more than happy with it! Notice the bundled PSU cables... told you it'd be messy!

pc7.jpg

Again a slightly different angle of the previous picture! Not too messy so gonna fire it up!

pc8.jpg

Happily purring away! Temps look good and it's very quiet!

pc9.jpg

All ready and running! All in all i'm really very happy!

Thanks for taking the time to look through my pics. Hope i wasn't too self indulgent... i'm just real happy with it! :)

100%?

Understatement of the Century! :p
Easy now! ;) :p

Had decided i needed something with a bit of space! My case previous to that was a P180... got to be the most frustrating case to repeatedly install and swap in and out of!

very nice GTJ

One thing you could improve is by reversing the HDD's so the cables are hidden as per in my v2000

You would need to cut a small U shape in the divider plate to let you route your hdd/front USB/Firewire leads up behind the mobo.
Thanks for letting me know okimanoob! Was wondering how people were doing that! Very tidy look! Would love a sata optical drive to get it even neater! :)

Cheers for the heads up on that pal - much appreciated!

Your V2000 looks excellent! They're absolutely massive aren't they! Would've loved one of those... unfortunately my wallet wouldn't allow it! :p

Nice build, a very nice case!

Is it btx?
Thanks $loth! :)

No - as far as i know it's ATX so i could still use my beloved DFI. You can just see the double layered GX2 in the very top of the case - it has a swiftech spacer fitted along with two zalman fatalities to keep it cool!

are you sure its not a BTX, i thought that all cases with the mobo mounted upside down where BTX
I thought that too - but when i checked on google the BTX spec boards had the pci slots and rear I/O sockets swapped round?

Have a check to see - i could be wrong but it looks like it's subtly different!

no, its just inverted ATX, BTX has a different motherboard layout.
Thank god... thought i was going nuts! :)

Cheers Rob! Was very tempted by an A-10B but couldn't quite stretch to one!

Truly wonderful cases - really impressed with their build quality! :D
