My neighbours or someone near me has just got wireless bb and my comp automatically connects to their connection. In the network list i cant see my router on there and when i try to login to my router it just logs in to theirs ;)

How do i log into mine to change the frequency or whatever it is thx
 
If you manually disconnect from their wireless network then your computer shouldn't connect again until you tell it to.

Have a look in the web management for your router/AP and look for SSID broadcast, I think that'll be disabled. Enable it if you want your network name to be broadcast.
 
Or, if you click view wireless networks, then click the tab change the order of preferred networks , ensure yours is top of the list and it will always connect to yours. Only in the case of your router going awol will it then attempt to connect to next door.

My mistake, best thing to do would be to connect with a cable, make sure SSID is on, then change the channel option to a non default channel, then do as I said above.
 
I cant gain access to my router thou. When i refreash the network list it only come up with there network and i havent got a cable to do it like that :(
 
To make sure your router is playing silly beggars, have you tried turning it off and on again?
