well im coming into about £400 maybe a little more and im wanting a few new products namely a cpu/motherboard,ram and graphics card,its going to be used for moderate-high gaming,browsing and downloading
heres what im thinking of for the first three
ill be hoping to get the 2200 to 3ghz or maybe a little higher on air but im not that fussed on oc'ing the ram or gfx card so if there is anything in there that wont work/work badly im very open to suggestions
id rather a gigabyte board because they have been good to me but if there is anything else out there that would make my life easier in oc'ing the cpu then once again im an open book.
would it be worth it to throw in a 2x1gb set of the same ram to take advantage of vistas 32bit limit.
as for a gfx card im lost,well not lost but stuck between 2-3
1/ an ati HD3870xt 512mb from what manufacturer i have no idea(is there a difference?) <looks better on paper with higher core and clock speed and almost twice the stream processors(whatever that is)
2/8800 gts once again there are several manufacturers but i was looking at one of these 2
