Yes, the DS3P is really the board of the moment and you can't get much better.

Yes its SATA2 compatible ( as it says on the description "- Features SATA 3Gb/s" )

The case is mostly aluminium. Read the reviews for more info.

If you are going to be overclocking ( which I STRONGLY advice for that CPU ) I would get a better cooler. May i suggest the Noctua http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-002-NC
