I used to think laptops were pretty cool but their annoyances are starting to get to me now. Like right now, I'm sitting in my garden but the sun's bright, so up goes the contrast on the screen, thus off goes the battery (<1hr on full contrast) so now I've got an extension lead trailed out of the conservatory. I also find myself constantly twiddling around so that the reflection in the screen is always reflecting something dark, otherwise I just see an ugly face in the screen
I'm squinting right now trying to make out these words that I'm typing and every spec of dust that lands on the screen is instantly illuminated by the sun.
*sigh*
The solution, I suppose, is to go inside. So the point of me having a laptop? None, unless you're planning to work on the move (e.g. not at home) you might as well have a desktop
So much for working in the garden with a cool beer this summer! I suppose I could sit in the shade to stop the dust illuminating... but the sun's the whole reason I'm out here!
/end moan

) core cpu systems, but as I don't play games I don't see the reason for such a machine anyway.
