A little problem

Right then, I have a small problem with my PC atm.

Every so often whilst my pc is on, it will randomly freeze and then shut off power to all the USB ports within the PC.

I have to hard reboot the PC to get it to work again. Anyone got any ideas on what could be causing it?

I assume when it freezes it will stay frozen? Try unplugging the USB peripherals and just leaving the essentials in (ie KB and mouse) if it happens again try changing the ports these are plugged in to.

oh yeh could u be using splitters and overloadin the PSU?

Hmm it's not the USB ports and I wouldn't of thought it was the PSU as this computer has been stable for the past 8 months, seems weird nothing seems to fix it...

Even tried an OS reinstall with 3 different O/S's anyone got any ideas on what else it could be?
