A monitor AND a projector on one amp?

I have a HK 255 with 5.1 speaker setup, connected to it is a sanyo z2000 hd projector, I have a spare monitor which I am planning to use with the amp too. Sometimes I dont want to close all the curtains and fire up the projector for some light tv viewing so I plan to use the monitor as a screen with the amps surround.

Inputs to the amp include my computer which acts as a media server plus TV tuner, bluray player etc..

What is the best solution to my two output from one amp issue?

As far as I can see the obvious solutions are swopping the HDMI output from between the projector and the monitor when I want to use each one, putting a second video card in the computer (which acts as a media server- can I do this when I already have both the computers monitor AND a cable running to the HDMI input on the HK 255 amp?). Or a third unknown option where I can connect perhaps using the the Monitor Component Video Outputs for the monitor while the projector is connected via the HDMI (but not turned on).

Any ideas?

You can buy an HDMI splitter (except in reverse), i.e. it gives out 2 HDMI outputs. My friends do this with their Sony amp and have both the TV and Projector connected. The only oddity they have is the TV has to be on or in standby for it to work.

The reviews seem to be good on the Neet http://www.amazon.co.uk/Neet®-SPLIT...ipping/dp/B001D9P1OW/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top

I have a 4x2 Matrix Switch from HDcable.co.uk which works brilliant (allows you to assign different sources from the 4 inputs to each output, or watch the same thing)

They do sell a simple 1x2 splitter which i guess is all you require if you just want to display your Amp output to 1 or the other screen without swapping cables (will let you do both at the same time if you need this for any reason) http://www.hdcable.co.uk/hdmi-splitter-1x2-pro2.html

Comes with a lifetime warranty and the support is brilliant from my experience.
