A more relaxing type of game?

If you consider death metal / hard rock to be your basic FPS shooter, what games exist which could be compared to soothing ambient music?

You know, something that maybe doesn't involve peril, violence, adrenalin, loud explosions and death, but instead relaxes you and draws you into a nice warm hazy experience where you can relax and feel good?

I don't mean simple browser games either, but proper games on a big scale.

give it a shot, you can complete in in a few hours, it's pretty addictive.

I remember Viva Pinata (albeit on Xbox but is also on PC) being very relaxing and enjoyable. Just you and your garden, taking care of your Pinatas and all.

The Sims as well I guess? Maybe Rollercoaster Tycoon as well... loved that series.

Mirrors edge. Any time I just need to chill out and relax I just put on some suitable music and play it.

Braid. Don't agree with Plants vs Zombies, excellent game but very stressful at times.

Braid you can mainly take your time, rewind time, and enjoy the soothing music. Really enjoyable gameplay.

Are there any large scale adventure / RPG / third person style games which would fit the category?
