I popped the car this morning to a good value garage and i've been quoted £130, and she's accepted that and is going to make bank transfer sometime soon. At that point I'll arrange to get it sorted. Thank you for all the advice/feedback and amusing comments, much appreciated

That’s just mostly for fixing the dent (that’s not showing up well on the pic) and for a polish/touch up, which I feel on balance is enough, probably! A proper job looked more like £300
